West Northamptonshire Council is aware that most people will wish to make arrangements to be with friends and family to watch the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday 19 September.

The council is also aware of two cinemas in the area offering tickets for people to come together and watch the event for free:

ON SUNDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER AT 2.30PM WE ASK YOU TO JOIN MEMBERS OF THE PARISH COUNCIL IN THE MARQUEE ON THE PLAYING FIELDS WHERE THE READING OF THE PROCLAMATION WILL BE MADE BY CLLR STEVE KERR.

THIS WILL BE FOLLOWED BY A MOMENTS SILENCE AND AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE COMMUNITY TO COME TOGETHER AND REFLECT ON THE SERVICE TENDERED BY THE QUEEN THROUGHOUT HER 70 YEARS OF LOYAL SERVICE.
