West Haddon Parish Council Emergency Planning Survey

The West Haddon Emergency Plan Working Group is establishing a response protocol to emergencies in the parish. To do this we need to understand the resources available within the parish so we can better plan how to deal quickly and effectively with such emergencies.

By 'Emergencies' we mean events that suddenly affect parishioners. This could be trees falling across the roads preventing vehicular access to the village, flooding in one area, a power cut lasting 8 hours or more.

If you would like to volunteer help and/or may require help in the event of an emergency then this survey is the starting point, our volunteers will follow up with you based on the information you give.

By "help" we mean access to specialist skills, equipment or tools (such as felling, sectioning and removing fallen trees or positioning and running water pumps) or access to medical supplies (such as home oxygen or insulin) or mobility problems (such as needing help to evacuate if there was a flood)

The information you provide will be shared with the members of the Parish Council, Working Groups and, in an emergency, to blue light services. If you wish your details to remain private you are welcome to email the Executive Officer on executiveofficer@westhaddonparishcouncil.gov.uk
