West Northamptonshire Council are working in partnership with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club to see if there is a local need for Cricket in Daventry town, as currently there is very little cricket-based activity for children. Cricket is a unique sport for children in the way that it combines both physical activity and improves social skills.

Does West Haddon have a speeding problem?.

SPEEDWATCH VOLUNTEERS – YOUR VILLAGE NEEDS YOU?.

One of the commonest complaints / concerns received by the Council is the issue of speeding through the village.

To this end the Parish Council have erected VAS and SIDs' and advisory 20mph signs in an attempt to combat this issue.

Jubilee Celebrations 2022

The Parish Council will be commemorating the forthcoming Queen's Platinum Jubilee, along with the nation, when it lights the beacon on the evening of the 2nd June 2022. Details of the event will follow but the occasion will be open to everyone and anyone is welcome to attend if they so wish.
